History of Kuwaiti Dollar
Kuwaiti Dinar is introduced in Year 1961 to replace Gulf Rupee.
It is equal to 1 pound sterling initially.
The Iraq invasion on Year 1990 cause large change on Kuwait market.
Iraqi Dinar replaced Kuwaiti Dinar as Kuwait currency and large quantity of Kuwaiti Dinar have been stolen.
After liberation, Kuwaiti Dinar have been restored and new series of bank notes released.
Previous bank notes included stolen one, have been demonetized.
